Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Grain, operated by Yamsilver Ltd (registration pending). By creating an account or using Grain, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Grain is a review intelligence platform for independent restaurants. It allows you to submit customer reviews for AI-powered analysis and receive reports, insights and drafted responses. We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password
• You may not share your account or create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits
• You must be 18 or over to use Grain

3. Acceptable use

You may only submit review content relating to your own business or one you are authorised to manage. You must not:

• Submit fabricated, misleading or defamatory content
• Use Grain to generate fake reviews or manipulate ratings
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape or otherwise misuse the service
• Use Grain for any unlawful purpose

4. Review content

By submitting review content to Grain, you confirm that you have the right to do so and that doing so does not violate any third-party terms of service. Customer reviews posted publicly on platforms such as Google may be submitted for analysis purposes. You are responsible for ensuring your use of such content is lawful.

5. Plans and payment

• Free plan includes 3 analyses. No credit card required.
• Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are shown on our pricing page.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• We do not offer refunds for partial months but you may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of your billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

6. AI-generated content

Analysis reports, insights, recurring issue detection and drafted responses are generated by AI and are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before acting on it or publishing it. We make no guarantee as to the accuracy, completeness or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated output.

Recurring issue detection uses automated classification to identify patterns across customer reviews. This process may occasionally misclassify a review, miss an issue, or surface a false positive. All recurring issues should be verified against your original reviews before any action is taken. Grain accepts no liability for decisions made based on AI-generated recurring issue reports.

7. Intellectual property

Grain and its underlying technology, design and content are owned by Yamsilver Ltd. You retain ownership of the review content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process that content to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your data.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grain is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting hello@grainreport.co.uk. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms. On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
